[It does take a moment for his eyes to adjust to the extra light as he steps out from the train.]
Indeed. It seems much more... mundane than expected. But of course, appearances can be deceiving when it comes to Retrospec. Stay nearby, Kaede. [He warns her as he starts to examine the area.]
[ And as they make their way through the area, they come upon the underground shopping mall. Kaede walks up to one of the shop windows, looking through it. ]
It looks like there's a lot of vintage toys in here. I wonder if they're from the same time as the stuff on the trains.
Let me see. [He hunches over next to Kaede and examines the brochure curiously. However, it contains no information that Byakuya doesn't already have; it describes Hope's Peak as a prestigious academy that takes in people believe to be the best at their talent and sets their graduates up for success in life.]
It certainly does. [He says that, but in a somewhat neutral tone. Then he goes on more skeptically.]
In fact, it seems too good to be true. Unfortunately, my memories don't exactly provide anything to prove or disprove that. But perhaps you'll remember it for yourself, in time.
I hope so. [ She nods, though, taking a whole stack and putting it in her backpack. He probably only meant a few but... she wants as much info as she can get. ]

Oh good, we can finally leave!
no subject
[With that, he opens the door! And it seems that they're now in the station. No need for night vision goggles here!]
no subject
Wow... I didn't expect that car to take us here.

They certainly look quite old, but there's no way to tell for sure. Either way, it seems that we're certainly intended to be reminded of olden times.
no subject
[ She wants to look at the toys a little longer, but they still need to find clues. ]
Do you think there's anything important further into the mall?
no subject
[So he moves forward. And it's not long before a familiar logo is spotted. Byakuya immediately points towards it!]
There! Retrospec! [Without wasting another moment, he starts to run towards it!]
no subject
Be careful! What if there's some kind of trap behind the door!
[ But in all honesty, she wants to brave whatever trap may or may not be there. ]
no subject
Worry not. I know to exercise caution. But we have to proceed forward, if we are to look for answers...
[With that, he steps forth to enter the Retrospec store. And no traps activate!]
no subject
This looks way out of place. [ Unless there happen to be real estate offices in underground malls, but that's not something she knows a lot about. ]
Hey, look at these brochures. [ She holds one up that says "Welcome to Tokyo" on it. ]
no subject
He then follows her towards the brochure.]
Ah, Tokyo... Let's see what Retrospec has to say about them. [There may be some basic information on Hope's Peak in there!]
no subject
Hey! They mentioned Hope's Peak in here!

[ Not that she didn't think it was amazing already, but seeing this information put out there so plainly makes it sink in even more. ]

In fact, it seems too good to be true. Unfortunately, my memories don't exactly provide anything to prove or disprove that. But perhaps you'll remember it for yourself, in time.
no subject
But you're right about it seeming like it's too good to be true. It feels like there has to be a catch somewhere.
no subject
[He'll be silent for the time being about the particular catch involving killing games... Once he sees nothing new in the brochure, he backs away.]
In any case, that's enough of that. Feel free to take several different brochures in case they contain anything useful. It's time to move on.
no subject
Do you think there's an exit nearby?
no subject
Now, let us be off! [And off they go in search of an exit!]
no subject
Before long, though, they come across the train that will eventually take them home. ]
Do you think we should get on?
no subject
We may as well. It could be our only way back out, if we're lucky. Let's just be wary of any tricks.
[Byakuya feels decisive about that statement, so he goes on ahead and leads the way into the train!]
no subject
[ And she follows him onto the train! Thankfully it does take them back to town! ]
no subject
[He breathes a sigh of relief as the train takes off without a hitch, or any creepy movies. And so another adventure draws to a close...]
