Great! I was wondering if you could meet me at the music building.

I have no problem with that. I can report there at the time of your choosing.

I'll be there in about 20 minutes!! (＠＾◡＾)

Very good. I should be there within that time frame. See you then.

[And sure enough, he'll be there by the end of the 20 minutes, waiting patiently!]

[ And Kaede runs up to him when she sees him! ]

I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long! Let's go in!

[ She holds open the door for him, letting him go ahead. ]

[falsepretentious]

Not at all. [He says with the hint of a smile, and then he nods as she opens the door for him.]

Thank you. [With that, he steps right through the door! Curious about what business she's summoned him for.]

[spiritoso]

[ She leads him to a practice room—one of the bigger ones with a piano and room for more than one person. ]

You probably already figured it out, but I want to play you a song!

[falsepretentious]

[Byakuya follows her patiently with his hands in his pockets.]

Yes, that would be the primary purpose of coming to a place like this. [He glances around.] Is there any special reason for this? [Not that he minds being performed for. It just seems a bit out of the blue...]

[spiritoso]

You know how I said I would tell you when I got back my talent?

[ She sits down on the piano bench. ] A talent like this... it's better to show you than just tell you, right?

[falsepretentious]

[Now this sounds interesting! Byakuya smirks and makes a theatrical gesture towards her.]

By all means, go ahead. [It's easy to guess what her talent is already, but he's interested to witness it in action.]

[spiritoso]

[ She nods, readying herself. ]

Alright! I hope you like the song I chose! [ After all, she made sure to pick something that she thought Byakuya would enjoy listening to. There's no point in playing if her audience doesn't like it.

Soon, she starts to play a song, her fingers moving across the keys energetically. ]

[falsepretentious]

[He folds his arms as he watches her - it's incredible how perfectly her hands move across the keys. As she plays, Byakuya closes his eyes and just takes in the music itself. A pleased smile crosses his face.]

...Impressive.

[spiritoso]

[ Kaede turns to him, smiling a little shyly, but her expression is bright. ]

I'm glad you think so! I was kind of surprised to find out this was my talent but... I think I like it.

[falsepretentious]

It's an admirable one. [He nods in approval.] You're right to feel proud of yourself. Is your talent solely focused on the piano?

[spiritoso]

I think so. I tried to play the drums, but it didn't really click with me like piano did. I might try a few more instruments just to see, though.

[falsepretentious]

I see. It can't hurt to experiment further, though I imagine that if your talent doesn't apply to all instruments, than it would most likely apply to only one or one family.

Regardless, your skill is quite impressive. I'm honored to be a witness to your performance.

[spiritoso]

That's what I was thinking too... I don't think it would include any random instruments.

[ And she smiles. ] I'm glad you feel that way! I was really hoping you would enjoy it.

[falsepretentious]

Indeed. [He taps at his glasses.] I can certainly appreciate a good piano song. Thank you for treating me to such a performance of your talent.
