I'd say that those are unusual sounding terms that I've never heard before. Why?

Of Hope's Peak Academy, yes. Though...I doubt he was the true headmaster.

I'd certainly hope not. I can't imagine a life where you'd submit yourself to a school run by something so ridiculous. So gaudy!

Mm, I don't think I would, either. After all this thing...I definitely don't think I would.

Hmph... It's perplexing, at any rate.

[At that moment, their conversation is interrupted as the waiter comes artfully balancing multiple plates of food that are set down on the table. ...And then, Kirgiri's simple meal is placed down before her softly.]

We can only so much thinking on empty stomachs... [With that, he begins to dig in!]

Ah...you aren't wrong. [ SHE WILL EAT HER SIMPLE MEAL PROBABLY MORE SLOWLY THAN HE EATS ]

[He gleefully tears through some of his meal for a few minutes, but then he pauses, and swallows his current bite as his eyes widen slightly.]

...Hope's Peak, you said?

[He sets down his food for a moment and wipes a napkin at his chin.]

...Quite the bell. So that's the school that is only for the best of the best... a prestigious school with no tuition, which promises definite success to its students...

The "no tuition" sounds far too good to be true, honestly. They have to have some way of getting funds...?

Mm. Government funding could be a factor, but even that can only go so far...

[evidentiary]

Besides, it was a private academy - I don't know how much funding they would have been allotted. Certainly not enough to take on that many students tuition-free, as you said...in that case, they have to have alternative revenue sources. I wonder what those are?

A good point, and a better question. There would have to be some wealthy benefactors... or it could be funded through criminal means. They could also be exploiting the student's talents in some way to earn money...

[He pauses as he considers the other pieces of the puzzle at hand.]

...Considering the stuffed animals apparently associated with the school, maybe they also had good merchandising deals. [He digs into his food to provide more fuel for his thoughts!]

...I suppose we won't know until we know more. But...it could be criminal means...? Or exploitation. I do recall a great many security cameras in that school...

Either way, sometime early next month or late this month we ought to meet up with the three of us and discuss matters.

Ah, you're sharing? [ he does try to feed her sometimes...HONESTLY HER SIMPLE MEAL IS FINE but she doesn't argue and Takes Some Fries. ]
